One of the things that I found particularly valuable about the book was its emphasis on building a strong support system and finding healthy coping mechanisms. Alexander stresses the importance of having a network of people who can support you on your journey to sobriety and provides valuable advice on how to build and maintain that support system. He also offers a variety of practical tips and techniques for finding healthy ways to cope with stress and difficult emotions, which is crucial for maintaining long-term sobriety.
The audiobook is well-structured and easy to follow. The author presents the information in a clear and concise manner, making it accessible to a wide range of listeners. The book is also informative and empowering, which I think will be of great value to anyone looking to make lasting changes in their life.
Overall, I would highly recommend "Sober on a Drunk Planet" to anyone looking for a supportive resource for overcoming alcohol addiction. It's an outstanding audiobook that provides valuable advice and practical tips for achieving lasting sobriety. 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Turns out I had some learning to do myself. I laughed when the author spoke about the wine a clock culture we have in society because it’s so true. We are constantly surrounded by adverts, friends, colleagues etc encouraging to go have a drink to celebrate or make you feel better.
So the surprise was for me, learning that even my own thinking about taking a glass a wine or two on the weekends to help me relieve stress and relax is completely opposite to what the science of alcohol and how it impacts your body says.
Listen to this book. You won’t regret it.
Not just for alcoholics
