love the narration by Angus, great story...the characters coming into them selves more and more...I can see Taggart in the incident room legs up after chip coma!! but Tyler falling out was priceless !!! loved this book... keep them coming - Hoon back was brilliant

If you don’t mind the F word, which appears rather a lot, this is a great addition to the series. JD Kirk manages to mix serious crime with some laugh-out-loud moments - yes, I really did laugh out loud! The characters are distinct and believable (although Hoon takes a bit of work!) and Angus King manages to find different voices for them all, despite most of them having Scots accents.
Well written, well narrated and hurry up with the next one!!

Never want to these books to end. From the story and characters to the narration all are brilliant. Love the fact Hoon was also a part of it, long live The Hoon. May there be many more stories to tell

So love this series and the spin off Hoon series. The mixture of humour, grit and mystery are what makes these books so great. Literally cannot be written fast enough for me

Jd Kirk has done it again. I’ve laughed so much I’ve snorted, I’ve stopped doing whatever I’m doing and stared into the middle distance in horror and I’ve absolutely loved every second!
