A good start to a new series. New starts in new areas of the ik is a much done premus but its done well. A bit of The Last Hope group by Gatwoid and bits of Boyd and Louth but that puts the author in goid company. Charactets are going to be developed - a given - and all will have a story of woe but honestly give this a go. Ive just used a credit for Book 2 and I dont throw these at new authors without a lot of consideration

I was looking for a new Detective series and spotted this in plus catalogue .i am glad it was free as unfortunately it was not for me story was quite muddled and the Detectives seem to miss the obvious rather too often don’t think I’ll continue with the series also

Enjoyed this book and will listen to more. Narrartion sounds very dour but not unpleasant seemed to fit the characters well.
