This is the story of Elswyth. A woman born from rape. Her life surrounded by violence. Captured by string Vikings and made their slave and also their wife. There were not easy times them, so much violence and women degradation. Elswyth was a very strong woman, capable of defending herself and what and who she loves. That’s what got me from these stories. She adapted to anything in order to survive and kept herself afloat, which caused so much jealousy. She is the ultimate viking warrior.
The narrator helped live the stories with the emotion needed.

loved the 3 of them, but the last one was my favourite, because for a change I didn't know how it was going to end.

I loved the narration of Emma Parry, who is perfect for this boxset. She brings out the action and steam.

Viking Thunder

A damaged Vikings longboat seeks shelter whilst repairs are made. Elswyth is a strong woman who is drawn to Eirik but should she stay with her ailing grandmother or leave to go into the unknown?

Viking Wolf

Elswyth soon settles into a new way of life and is happy with Eirik . Elswyth strong woman knows when to submit, to Eirik. loved the mystery and intrigue.

Viking Beast

Elswyth has suffered in her life . The is pace is fast and doesn't let up. It made me gasp at times . We have steam, betrayal, revenge, murder all woven into romance. I loved it.

Viking Warriors is a unique and brilliantly-written dark historical romance trilogy. It's a compelling and sensual, packed with passion, intensity, and drama. There are elements in the story that are quite violent and hard but expected from the period. Emma Parry did an exceptional job with the narration, particularly the harsher scenes. I'm wholly impressed by her performance and ability to modify her tone.

If you like your romance dark, Viking Warriors is a perfect choice, one I highly recommend. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
