People say karma's a... well, you know. Personally, I don't think I'm that bad. It's not like I wanted this job. I wasn't even in my right mind when I accepted the position.

Now, I'm surrounded by crazy coworkers like Lady Luck, who's a bit of a tramp, and Murphy's Law, who's a bumbling oaf. But the worst is Fate. He's got a problem with transfers like myself and I have to see him constantly. It's unavoidable, since we're hunting the same man, my murderer.

This shows some really good promise. It isn’t something that I have come across before and I must admit I’m intrigued by where the story is going to continue to

Interesting

This book is okay but by no means riveting. It's great to have on in the back ground while doing the housework or something as it's easy to keep up with what's going on. I have to say I didn't really like narrator. Her voice is rather annoying to listen too and her male voices are terrible, they all sound like petulant teenage boys. Not sure if I will be getting the next instalment.

Why this narrator reads each male character like an automation, I have no idea. The female characters sound human but the male ones are just strange and so similar at times it's easy to mistake who is speaking.

The story is okay but the narration is enough for me not to read on in the series

The narrator ruined it

Any additional comments?

I've both read and listened to the story and both are pretty enjoyable, however, there is a distinct background noise which is noticeable throughout the story.
This was somewhat distracting and while it didn't detract from the story, it does push me to suggest the story get re-narrated in a "quiet room" withOUT the background noise.

Enjoyable story, but has background noise

I've read this book before and wanted to give the audible version a go. i enjoyed it the second time round just as much as the first. Karma is sarcastic, witty, and combative throughout. she is thrown into a reality (upon death) that she was totally unaware of and goes on a journey of acceptance with the aim of being reincarnated. Some detective work and romantic tension thrown in makes a great story.
The narrator, Angel Clark, I am familiar with, and although not my favourite, if you persevere and just go with it, you end up filtering out any annoyance and just enjoying the story.

Amusing and Fun
