I Could not believe it when I read an excerpt from this book then looked at the newspaper and heard the news coming out of China. But then again this book is based on actual places and loosely based on establishments doing science that could easily go wrong and cause massive global implications !......Feb 2020

It was ok-ish. After the first couple of chapters.
What turned me off, almost immediately, was how the mother was able to “get over”, “move on” and see the grander side of life, one year after losing her son.
You do NOT get over it. You hurt forever!
I was so angry with the main character and with Koontz. Though am thankful there are people who don’t know.

only to be explained away by telepathy or telekinesis or something. Enjoyed the short conclusive statements/story by the author. Funny and quirky. But boy, they got special kid on their hands, fingers crossed they didn't just release a supervillain into the world who has built a personality/defense mechanism after two years away from his mom and has no qualms about killing.
