Matty Iapen is the most average bounty hunter and investigator you can hire in Cleveland. He graduated college with a journalism degree only to find work chasing criminals and solving B-rate mysteries. Alongside his colleagues Mariah and Alison, Matty is determined to solve any mystery, primarily because he needs to pay his bills.

Matty is shocked when his colleague Mariah is arrested and accused of murder. Mariah claims it was self-defense, but her innocence is in question. To protect Matty and the rest of the office, Mariah goes on the lamb. With a substantial bounty on her head, the office pariah Jack Douhicky and Ohio’s top bounty, Samantha Mays-Fisher seek to capture Mariah.

Meanwhile, Alison is attempting to win Cleveland’s Most Gorgeous Bachelorette and Cleveland's single ladies are turning up to grab the crown. And that’s not all the drama. Local media legend Ivona Friller is hounding everyone for an official scoop, Ms. Dorriander is protesting in Shaker Square, and bounty hunter Ryan stars in a local production.

Will Mariah be vindicated? Will Alison win the crown? Questions abound in this comedic story about a late-night gas station snack run, undercover disguises galore, and impromptu loaded fries, which makes for a loaded comedy of errors.
