Not the Best Intro to Astral Projection

The book doesn't even start until chapter 4, about 5-10 minutes in, the first 3 chapters are legal disclaimers. I felt like a lot of the book was the history of astral projection and what scientific research has been done. I was hoping for a how-to. I didn't really learn anything useful. The description mentions projection from mediation, they don't even tell you how to do it, the book just pretty much says monks can do that and they leave it there. I'm returning it.

Wow! What a waste of time.

There is no “secret of astral projection” presented in this pamphlet of a book. I have had spontaneous OBE’s since I was 8 years old and I am looking for a way to make entering astral projection more controllable. The author’s description of astral projection was so weak that I’m convinced that she has never actually had one. There are no real tips or real advice presented in this recording. Except at the end where she tells you to find real advice somewhere else. A “nice touch” (sarcasm intended) was the long legal disclaimer in the beginning and the “about the author” at the end that are obviously there just to pad out the length of the recording.

Well let's see

to start with where are the sensations you go through in the process of astral projection, they seem to be missing here, it's nice to touch on the two or three things but what about the others you need to be a little more complete an hour and 40 minutes would be better

Learning to Travel the Astral Plane

Astral Projection was an informative audiobook on techniques and what to expect if you decide to study astral travel. I liked this book quite a bit as I practice meditation, although it does say that meditating isn't the best starting point for this. I would agree. He talks about using crystals and learning your chakras which will help on this journey. Learning how to lucid dream is a good place to begin and this book will explain how one can learn to do just that. It's just an overview, albeit a good one for beginners.

I really liked John Edmondson's reading of this book. He has a powerful voice and speaks very clearly with good inflections and emphasis on important points. This was a really good collaboration.
