Summary

Travis Sterling has escaped a life of slavery and has attained incredible magical potential, but he is still vulnerable. What’s more, inheriting Odin’s mantle has automatically earned him a slew of enemies. But now that Trav has power and freedom, he needs a plan. What’s more, he must explore who he is and what he is becoming.

His beautiful valkyries have given him an early advantage and good council, but they won’t be enough, not anymore. The universe is a lot larger than Trav had ever imagined...and more dangerous. In order to survive, he’ll need to forge alliances, create new weapons, master his magic, and learn more about himself. Trav’s experiences growing up on Earth might not have helped much in the mines, but his checkered past might be the perfect resume for a newborn god.

A Veilverse story

Note: This series was crafted for adults. Asgard Awakening contains morally grey situations, polyamory, fantasy violence, and slavery.

The MC

The MC has become a total idiot and more of a dbag.Still has anger issues and let me get married to random woman within the first couple chapters without any proof of anything she has said or getting to know her. Let me get back from her palace and land into a burning building, yell at one guy for saying his name and trying to save him and then going onto asking dumb questions at NOT leave the burning building! Also, he still going on about his ex wife AFTER 3 years!! Give it a rest dude, the readers don't care about your whining!

Tie-ins

While the story overall isn't bad, it feels like the author is just tying in the different series so that readers are tempted to buy the other series. The main characters in the different series are all the same. Angry, pissed off all the time, and seem to find hussies at every turn. All in all not bad but the series just seem to rinse and repeat the same story arc with different settings.

Can't get enough!

Loved it! I can't get enough! I really like the idea of having the Vail verse so that Cultivating Chaos and Asgard Awakening can entwine with each other. I have part one and 2 to both stories and plan on keeping up with them until the end.

good book

i liked the book i wasn't spoiled by the ash books but i don't like how he basically took on a son has a wife and a family and can't even kill a mid lev race also if you were thinking that travis was going to have better development the ash in the 2nd book you were wrong they both barely progress and idk what ash has to do thats so crucial that lock wont tell him hes a god and that travis is basically fighting against a whole other mythology i know he is making a sect but... also i like how ash has more
freedom he basically can do whatever he wants i like trav but i think he has to much responsibility with so little strength so both books are good i like how trav is holding odin i thought that locks name was fake and he was a famous god

well done

there's a lot I could say about this book but the only thing that really matters is that it made me cry. I haven't cried in years but there was a part to this book that just struck true.

nothing special, but solid

my only complaint is the lack of read-in/summary or anything similar through the first couple of chapters ...
the story is good, though a little vanilla, won't stop me from getting the next book, but this one felt below BCs standards...

Andrea really carried this book and she did an amazing job

Wonderful

Definitely need more of this. Likeing the power systems and progression. Though could use more of a focus on the Valkyries.

Thanks for another fun book Blaise!

I am really enjoying the VeilVerse! 3 great authors with fun differing takes on a wild world view. Andrea once again proves why she is one of my favorite narrators and breathes life into the characters. I am looking forward to the next chapter in Trav’s life.

I love this universe

I really like the world building that's going on between the different writers in this veilverse. It has a nice blended balance of different myths and legends. I hope to see many more books in these series. Narration was amazing as always.
