an excellent conclusion to A story in a well built world.

The author must have spoken to women, and Listened, to have written all the female characters so well, even if the sapphic nature of Cat's relationship with Wip was a little glossed over. I actually appreciate storylines with MFCs that don't get bogged down in torrid relationships where their feelings are communicated over, and over, and over, and OVER, almost like a cut n paste job. So, even though the relationship could have been a little more three-dimensional, I love that it was only a small portion of the over-all story.

The identity of the 'Gardeners' was amusing. But it only raised more questions, so if the author doesn't return to Cat and her role as -SPOILER REDACTED-, he would be very foolish.

I am VERY selective of what litre series I will get into, especially as there are so many, my limit is 4, including The Wandering Inn and Spells, Swords and Stealth by Drew Hayes. But this is one I am eager to continue.

10/10 I do recommend this series.

However, there are 2 main aspects I loved most and pushed it 5 stars for me: the books had LGBTQ+ representation, the romance between Kat and Whip was adorable, and I am always greatful when a story shows that a romance continues past the chase and before marriage. Lastly the concept and setting of the story was so unique to me and had the best way of creating suspense in a virtual world I’ve not seen in other books. I know the story is over and I’ll miss the characters but I look forward to seeing what you make next.
