About this listen

When you kick evil to the curb, it kicks you back.

What peace Helo had hoped for by defeating King on the Tempest is short-lived. Evil doesn’t go quietly, and it’s always hungry for revenge.

After his parents are murdered, Helo rejoins the Ash Angel Organization ready to hunt creatures of evil and obliterate the six remaining Dread Loremasters. But terrifying portents from Tela Mirren’s dreams and dire warnings from Aclima hint that crossing darkness incurs a terrible price, and Helo will be the one who pays.

It has been a while since listening to book 1, and I sometimes find it hard to get back into a book series when there is a gap between books, preferring to binge listen a series when they are finished.

Ash Angels: Angel Born was not an issue. Instantly, Fullers writing and Bray’s narration take you straight back to where you left off.

I loved every minute, characters new and old are brought to life with fast paced action sequences and laugh out loud moments. The imagery that this book conjures up is outstanding and you will fee your heart pounding as the action picks up. You will grit your teeth with annoyance at characters who hinder Helo’s path.

Can’t wait for the third instalment, and maybe, just maybe someone will see the opportunity to make this into a series or movie, it is screaming out for a screenplay.

Great fun!

Like seeing an old friend again.
