Summary

Christopher Brown didn’t plan on waking up in Atrilles. He was a normal guy, volunteering at a community center, until an accident dropped him under a strange pink sun, facing dust wolves that dissolve into eerie motes the moment they’re struck. With no clue how he got here, and an otherworldly interface tracking his Health and Stamina, Christopher quickly learns two things:

  1. Most people in Atrilles can’t catch a break from unending dust wolf raids.
  2. No city mage or local champion is likely to help. They’ve grown too complacent in their tenuous peace.

Stonefield, a tiny village on the edge of nowhere, is his first refuge, and it’s being mauled by a pack of rift-corrupted wolves. With harried farmers and a handful of determined watchers, Christopher fights tooth and nail, discovering that every swing of a borrowed pitchfork drains him of precious Stamina. There’s no “easy mode” in Atrilles; magic follows strict rules, illusions are draining, synergy combos have brutal costs, and dwarven forging mistakes can flatten entire buildings. If Christopher wants to survive, he’ll have to earn every scrap of strength.

But survival isn’t enough when an alpha wolf looms on the horizon and entire city-states ignore Stonefield’s plight. Deeper in the realm, the mysterious Damon Cross hunts for rift energies to fuel his personal ambition, rumored to have walked through villages without lifting a finger to help. As Stonefield teeters on the brink, Christopher faces a harsh choice: stay an ordinary volunteer from Earth, or become the champion these people desperately need.

Brace yourself for:

  • Relentless dust wolf raids that devour at dusk and vanish by dawn.
  • A litRPG-like interface that doesn’t hand out powers on a silver platter, every skill demands real sacrifice.
  • An undercurrent of cosmic threat, with sneaky gods pulling subtle strings from a shining citadel high above.
