I downloaded this book because it was free and I was looking for something in my favourite historical genre to fill the gap between credits day. But right from the start I was totally captivated
. It’s absolutely brilliant and incredibly well narrated. The ending is just thrilling and I felt like I didn’t want it to end.
Five stars from me and I don’t want to say goodbye to any of the characters so hoping for sequel books in my future

I battled with the narration in the beginning, but soon realised that it fitted perfectly with the street urchins way. Thereafter it was fantastic, can't wait to listen to the next two books. Narration excellent
