I really enjoyed this book and found it inspiring. There is so much wise advice within it. It has really helped me to understand my weight issues. I have listened to the whole book and now I'm going to start working through chapter by chapter. It might not appeal to everyone but I would certainly encourage you to give it a go.

This book is not for someone who wants instant solutions to weight loss. Rather it addresses the background behind why we become over weight in the first place and helps to address that with exercises and mindful solutions.

This book could be great but I really feel you need to follow all the steps to really feel the benefit or else listen to it over and over to really ingrain it into your thinking.

Although I don't have the same belief system I was able to see past it for the sake of the practical guidance the book would give. I think some Christians would struggle with some of the terminology so if you are sensitive to certain things then this book might not be the best fit.

For the most part I really liked it. I am quite out there in my thinking and can be very open to things but If I am being totally honest, I found some of the ceremonial things way too much. It's just something I wouldn't do so I skipped those parts. But for the most part it was good. It helps you to learn to love and respect you body with good food and movement rather than shaming it or thinking bad about it. I think I would listen to it again.

This book is like having your own personal therapist in your house. The tips she shared made sense to me and encouraged me to to look at the reasons for the excess weight rather than the diets.
will definitely read and listen again.

I love the work of marriane williamson i recommend this and i have in paperback and audible, i have listened 3 or more times its very good and doesnt take too long to listen to. Great to get if you have interests in healthy foods eating and taking better care of your self xxx
