About this listen

The Stormlight Archive saga continues in Rhythm of War, the sensational fourth book in Brandon Sanderson's #1 New York Times bestselling series.

After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar's crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move.

Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin's scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals, and potentially reveal the secrets of the ancient tower that was once the heart of their strength.

At the same time that Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with his changing role within the Knights Radiant, his Windrunners face their own problem: As more and more deadly enemy Fused awaken to wage war, no more honorspren are willing to bond with humans to increase the number of Radiants. Adolin and Shallan must lead the coalition's envoy to the honorspren stronghold of Lasting Integrity and either convince the spren to join the cause against the evil god Odium, or personally face the storm of failure.

Sadly the this is the first book (out of over 100) that have just stopped working after 30 odd chapters. I've had to delete and redownload twice now and refind my place.

Another fantastic edition to the stormlight archive, however I feel like my heart strings have been plucked far to much while reading this.

To people struggling with audible, the same issue occurred to me with oathbringer, the fix i found was changing the download to be in parts rather than the whole book, this worked for me for some reason, i hope it can help you.

Thank you, I'll see you for you next book

there's a lot I could say about the plot of this book but I don't want to spoil it for people

The level of character growth for every single person in the stormlight archive has been amazing

yet what I want to really gush over is the performances of of Michael Kramer and Kate Reading

the scenes events and feelings that go on during this book needed to be handled perfectly in tone and ability and both of these two narrators have done the most amazing performances of the week characters I thought was possible going into mental illness for all the main characters really and being able to to put through their performances to explain the depth of the darkness that people like Kaladin like Shallan like Dallinar go through is simply fantastic

I cannot recommend this book enough it is fantastic on every level

yet another mssterful performance by all involved

It took some getting used to the changes in narrator, but the story s excellent as expected. Twists, turns, plots and ploys. Literally couldn't stop listening, especially near the end. Can't wait for the next book...

Too addictive, he warned, it'll consume you
