So much of this book resonated for me and I hope it will give many other people the strength and courage to be themselves in this complex and often fucked up world. LOVE

It’s such a brilliant read. I knew Bimini was super intelligent and Whitty but I am learning so much in this book. It should be on a school curriculum. I am gay married women with woke kids age 18/22. I am well On my way to being 50, this books has helped me fully understand the scope of gender and sexuality terms that weren’t about when I was younger. We all need to educate ourselves. These young souls need support love and guidance and they can’t get that if we all bury our head in the sand.
This book is fully of herstery from the drag world and helped me learn a thing or two about who the real Bimbos were! Who knew ?

It’s an easy read with lots of fun, dealing with serious issues from crushing the patriarchy, politics, and finding your authentic self. All done in such a natural way not a cringe was had by me.
There is also lots of glamour and fashion and tales from Bims past, how things planned out in Drag race, how to support Drag artists in small towns and venues. That drop dead gorgeous pimple suit run way! ( wow still adore it)
I didn’t think I would say I underestimated Bimini, but I did and it was a fantastic surprise. ❤️

If you've heard about gender non-conformity, dismantling the patriarchy or drag and don't think any of those things are relevant to you and your life, this book is for you.
Think this is "just a drag queen book", think again.
This book gives real, accessible breakdowns of all these subjects and more. Conveyed with more sass, intelligence and wit than most, you won't learn how to achieve a perfect smokey eye but you will learn about LGBTQ+ issues, queerness and maybe, yourself.

Should be compulsory (listening) reading.

This is very much Bimini in book form - smart and full of well thought-out opinions, informative explanations and inspiring and encouraging stories on everything from gender and self expression to veganism, health and self-care. While not as heavy on details as some other books on similar topics, it's a great collection and is an excellent starting point for a deeper dive into queer topics. Strongly recommended for any Bimini or Drag Race fans.

I have listened to only a handful of self help books on audible, this one was a different one to the rest. Bimini talks about everything and it truly amazing doing it. if you love them on RPDRUK then you will love this book. the fact I went through it in a day, was amazing.
