1993年生まれ。2000年7月歌舞伎座『宇和島騒動』の武右衛門倅武之助で五代目中村米吉を襲名し初舞台。『寺子屋』の戸浪、『絵本太功記』の初菊、『仮名手本中心蔵』祇園一力茶屋のお軽と名作の大役を勤めるなど、若手期待の女方として活躍中。2015年、16年には、米国ラスベガスでの歌舞伎公演に出演。同年10月『仮名手本忠臣蔵』二段目の本蔵娘小浪で、17年３月『伊賀越道中双六』の幸兵衛娘お袖で国立劇場奨励賞。15年3月南座『鳴神』の雲の絶間姫で十三夜会賞奨励賞。21年第四十二回松尾芸能賞新人賞。
