In high school, he had no friends and moved to Tokyo at the age of 18 under the pretense of becoming an actor. After working various part-time jobs, including at izakayas and bars, he joined The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo at 24. There, he embodied the spirit of hospitality cherished by the company, developing a unique customer service style that left a lasting impression—so much so that over 6,000 guests asked for his name over six years. At 31, he joined American Express International, Inc., where he worked in corporate sales. Initially ranked at the bottom in performance, he applied the principle of “being memorable,” which he had valued at Ritz-Carlton, and within a year, he rose to become number one nationwide in both client referrals and customer satisfaction. At 38, he joined OpenSky Inc., a company specializing in the sale and operation of private jets. At 40, he became independent and founded his own office. On June 5, 2024, he published his first book, Become a Person Who Leaves a Lasting Impression (Diamond, Inc.).
