I currently live in Southern California but was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Received my Master's Degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, home of the Salukis. Over the past several years, I have worked for various companies ranging from automotive, like Honda Motors Manufacturing to medical device companies like, Johnson and Johnson; in various capacities of quality engineering and quality management. I have always held an interest in the world of science and fantasy, most of which was nurtured at an early age through comic books and fiction authors such as L. Ron Hubbard, Arthur C. Clarke and Ursula K. Le Guin. I enjoy hiking, photography, drawing, painting, architecture, engineering and writing. My favorite food is cherry and vanilla ice cream with apple pie, of which I eat far too much. I like to write about subjects that fascinate me and areas that I feel are important in the world and in my own life. This particular story has been on my mind for many years partly due to all the problems in the world that currently face humanity and partly out of my interest of space and time travel.
