Zapo is an independent author whose work explores language, human values, desire, and the subtle forces that shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. His writing begins with curiosity and develops through simple but fundamental questions: What do we value? Why do we want what we want? And what makes something feel important to us?
His debut book, You Want More When the Anthropocene, began with a simple curiosity about how values are expressed in a foreign language. What started as an exploration of words gradually evolved into a deeper investigation of values, desire, self-awareness, and the feeling that something is missing. That curiosity eventually grew into a complete book.
