Z Smith writes fantasy set in Zime, an original world shaped by faith, magic, and moral conflict. His stories follow characters caught between loyalty, family, survival, forbidden power, and the cost of believing in something larger than themselves.

Zime began as a tabletop gaming world and grew over years of shared adventures, questionable plans, heroic mistakes, and friends willing to bring the setting to life around the table. That same spirit of discovery now carries onto the page, where hidden histories, dangerous choices, and imperfect people stand at the heart of the story.

Outside of writing, Z is a devoted husband and father whose wife and son have supported his many creative hobbies, late-night ideas, and habit of turning “one small concept” into an entire world. He is grateful to the family and friends who helped make Zime possible, and he hopes readers enjoy stepping into it as much as he has enjoyed building it.
