Wyatt McLaren has lived a large and varied life. He has been, at one time or another, everything from a rodeo rough-stock rider to a day laborer to an English teacher. And the stories and books he writes reflect that adventure and variety. A life-long fan of westerns and science fiction and fantasy, Wyatt usually writes stories and books that combine elements of all three. These works include colorful characters, other-worldly settings, fast-paced plots, and a big dollop of adventurous fun. Think of "Star Trek," "The Rounders," and a little "Lonesome Dove" all shaken together and poured out, and you'll have some idea of what you're about to taste when you step into the Buck Johnson stories. Wyatt has been writing for years, honing his story-telling skills and mastery of the language. He lives on a few acres in Oklahoma with his wife, dogs, and horses. When he isn't writing, you can usually find him working in his garden or catching bass and crappie. Wyatt has a load of fun writing his Buck Johnson (and other) stories and books. And he's fairly certain you'll get a big kick out of reading them.
