Will Tosh is Head of Research at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. He teaches and writes about the literature and culture of Shakespeare’s England, and he leads the Globe’s scholarly research mission. Will works as a dramaturg with the Globe’s playwrights and theatre artists, and speaks for the Globe on matters of Shakespeare scholarship in the media and online. He is the author of Straight Acting: The Many Queer Lives of William Shakespeare (Sceptre/Seal Press, 2024), Playing Indoors: Staging Early Modern Drama in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse (Bloomsbury Arden Shakespeare, 2018), and Male Friendship and Testimonies of Love in Shakespeare’s England (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).
