Drawn to survival-driven stories and exploration-focused science fiction, Wes is most interested in what happens when people are pushed beyond the structures they rely on—and what they build, break, or become as a result. He favors immersive settings, forward momentum, and the quiet tension that comes from not knowing what’s just over the next horizon.

Pioneers marks his first published novel and the beginning of a larger universe he has been carrying—sometimes consciously, sometimes through half-remembered dreams—for years. After finally deciding to stop outlining the idea in his head and actually write it down, he discovered that the most interesting part of storytelling is watching it evolve once other people enter the world.

Wes plans to continue expanding the Pioneers universe through a trilogy and future standalone stories, with overlapping timelines, shared history, and the occasional unexpected crossover. Reader feedback is welcomed—and while no promises are made, good ideas have been known to survive long enough to become characters.

He writes for anyone who loves original science fiction, high-stakes survival, and the feeling of being somewhere entirely new… preferably with just enough dry humor to take the edge off the danger.
