Uri Kugel is a seasoned clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience in the field of mental health. Born and raised in Israel, Uri has pursued a lifelong quest for understanding the deeper truths of existence, a journey that has taken him across the globe and into the heart of both psychological and spiritual exploration.
Uri holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. His extensive training and practice span classical clinical experiences in psychiatric hospitals and outpatient settings across the United States, Europe, and Israel. Beyond his psychological expertise, Uri has dedicated over 25 years to the study and practice of various forms of tantra, Tibetan Buddhism, and nondual traditions. He has studied under some of the most renowned contemporary spiritual teachers, deepening his understanding of the mind, consciousness, and the nature of reality.
Uri's unique approach to therapy integrates psychological principles with spiritual practices, offering a holistic framework that addresses the existential questions at the core of human suffering. His work is grounded in the belief that true healing and transformation require an openness to both scientific and spiritual wisdom.
Currently based in San Diego, California, Uri continues to guide individuals on their paths of self-discovery, helping them navigate the complexities of the human experience. When he's not working with clients or writing, Uri can be found immersing himself in nature, practicing meditation, or continuing his never-ending quest for knowledge and understanding.
