Tweed Jefferson (1980-2025) was the author of over a dozen works of fiction and non-fiction. He earned black belts in some Japanese martial arts, played a silly number of instruments, and liked to make things – from custom arcade machines to hand-carved guitars. After writing a bunch of books, he decided to go back to school to study wildlife medicine. Tweed had over two decades of experience in music production and publishing, working in the studio and on tour alongside several influential and award-winning artists. These experiences came together in several of his books, such as the Rockstar Nobody series. As the Executive Editor at Squill Publishing, he lent his knowledge and skills to up-and-coming authors and artists. He enjoyed creating a world outside of his novels. Rockstar Nobody includes a full album of original music 'performed' by the band the story follows. Tweed was autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) and a vocal advocate for better mental health care, especially greater understanding for suicidal ideation.
