Tristan Pollock is an award-winning blogger, tech entrepreneur, startup investor, and now a children's book author. He writes a business column for Entrepreneur.com and has spent the good part of a decade in Silicon Valley building companies as a founder and venture capitalist. His story started in Minnesota where his creative parents exposed him to the value of art and nature while growing up in the woods. Tristan went on to attend North Dakota State University in Fargo before moving to Auckland, New Zealand for most of a year, running out of money, and eventually making his way to San Francisco. More recently, he took two years to travel around the globe on a 'sabbatimoon' with his soul partner in life Danyelle. They reached 60 countries and supported entrepreneur communities in far off places like Albania, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. The COVID-19 pandemic presented a unique opportunity to get creative while on lockdown with his entire family. Thus, his first book, 'Stay at Home, Dog!' was born. He is always excited to talk philosophy, jump in freezing cold water (ideally straight from a sauna), and will definitely pet your dog.
