Trevor MacKenzie is an author, speaker, consultant, and educator. Having worked with ministries, universities, district and school teams, educational organizations, and edtech companies, he is an internationally recognized thought leader in inquiry-based education. Trevor empowers educators to achieve more in the classroom using a scaffolded inquiry framework. Trevor is known for his enthusiasm for personalized learning and encouraging educators to create environments built on relationship and trust. He is incredibly personable and enjoys connecting with educators around the world in helping them implement inquiry-based learning in their schools or elevating the inquiry practices and frameworks that already exists in their organization. Trevor is an award winning high school English teacher, Instructional Coach (focusing on inquiry and technology), and graduate student from Victoria, BC, Canada who believes that it is a magical time to be an educator. By increasing student agency over learning, weaving in strong pedagogy, transformative tech use, and sharing learning to a public audience, Trevor’s learners are ready to take on important roles in the 21st century.
