Tom is a Christian sinner who has been saved by Grace. He is enrolled in the School of the Holy Spirit and trusts that one day he will graduate to perfection. Tom was brought up as a Latin-mass Roman Catholic. He came to the Lord in 1981, but after his baptism he went flat for many years. It took the death of his wife Edith in 2015 to awaken the Holy Spirit in him. When this book was published Tom was writing the largest blog in the shooting sports. His readership was over a quarter million worldwide, including more than 100,000 registered subscribers. Two of his four published books are about airguns—BB and pellet guns. Tom was one of two hosts who started the television program American Airgunner in 2010 and though he had to give up hosting the show due to a sudden illness, he remained as a guest and regular contributor for many years. But although he could write a bit Tom was not a good proselytizer. He could talk people out of their salvation. He’s the kind of guy who couldn’t sell warm blankets to Eskimos! So he wrote this book to overcome his clumsy and tongue-tied evangelizing efforts. This is the fourth book Tom has authored, but it is his second book with a Christian theme. He really wanted to give principal authorship credit to the Holy Spirit who taught him what to say and how to say it. But he didn’t want to trade on God’s name. His prayer is that when he meets the Lord He will say, “Well done! At least your writing was effective!”
