Todd and Amy Underwood have been married for more than 32 years, but their story is not one of a perfect marriage—it is a story of redemption.

After walking through seasons of deep hurt, betrayal, brokenness, and the lasting effects of past trauma, Todd and Amy discovered that sometimes the key to holding on to your marriage begins with learning what you need to let go. Through honesty, counseling, forgiveness, faith, and an unwavering willingness to fight for one another, they watched God take what felt broken beyond repair and transform it into something stronger, deeper, and more beautiful than they imagined.

Their journey became the foundation for their book, Letting Go: The Key to Holding On to Your Marriage, and ultimately a calling to help other couples find hope in the hard places of marriage.

Together, Todd and Amy founded Marry Me Daily, a marriage ministry built around a simple but powerful belief: a strong marriage isn’t created by one promise made on a wedding day, but by choosing one another again and again—daily.

Today, they have a marriage ministry called Marry Me Daily, and they serve as Marriage Coordinators at Journey Church, where they pour into couples through marriage classes, small groups, retreats, mentoring, and speaking. Their passion is creating safe spaces where couples can be honest about their struggles, break unhealthy cycles, heal from past wounds, and invite God into the places they thought could never be restored.

Todd and Amy don’t teach marriage from a place of perfection. They teach from a place of experience. They know what it feels like to hurt, to question, to struggle, and ultimately to choose each other again. Their message is one of hope: your hardest chapter does not have to be your final chapter.

Todd and Amy are the parents of three grown sons and have spent more than three decades building a life, a family, and a marriage together. Their greatest desire is to use their story—every beautiful and broken piece of it—to remind couples that God is still in the business of redemption.
