Tim Campbell worked for more than 40 years in urban development with experience in scores of countries and hundreds of cities. He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from U. C. Berkeley and a Ph.D. from M.I.T. In recent years, he has sought to find his voice in non-fiction, publishing a memoir on fatherhood and essays and poetry in a dozen literary journals. When not writing, he aims to improve his sailing up wind and to get the kinks out out of his back hand. He lives in Berkeley, California.
