Tim Bouverie is the author of the Sunday Times Bestseller and Orwell Prize shortlist candidate 'Appeasing Hitler'/'Appeasement': a major re-appraisal of the disastrous years of indecision, failed diplomacy and parliamentary infighting that enabled Nazi domination of Europe. While working on a sequel on Allied diplomacy during the Second World War he has written 'Perfect Pitch: 100 Pieces of Classical Music to bring Joy, Tears, Solace, Empathy, Inspiration (and everything else in between)'. Accompanied by a Spotify playlist it is intended as an introduction to classical music for those that would like to 'get in' to the genre, though with enough context and insight for the existing music lover. He is currently a Fellow of St Antony's College, Oxford.
