Tim Bottke is a Senior Strategy Partner at Monitor Deloitte Germany who for more than 25 years has advised boards and top management on strategy and large-scale transformation, working with clients in more than 20 countries. Tim is also the Deloitte Global Sector Leader for Telecom, Media & Entertainment, and Sports, and he has taught strategy and digital transformation at some of Europe's leading business schools. He was named to the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2026.

His first book, Digital Transformation Payday (Wiley), reached #2 on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list. His new book, PREVAIL: What Leaders Must Do Now Because Machines Can't Manage (Wiley, January 2027), is a working diagnostic for why AI initiatives can break down — and what leaders should do differently, starting with the management decisions made long before anyone trains a model.
