Tim Ayliffe is an Australian author whose crime-thriller novels take readers into the murky worlds of terrorism, international espionage, white supremacism and global power games. Ayliffe blends so much truth in his thrillers that it's difficult to tell where fact becomes fiction. All of his books feature his main character, former war correspondent, John Bailey. Ayliffe is the author of The Greater Good, State of Fear and The Enemy Within and there are more John Bailey spy thrillers on the way. As a journalist, Ayliffe has travelled widely and he's currently the Managing Editor of Television and Video for ABC News Australia. When Ayliffe's not writing or chasing news stories he rides bikes and surfs. He lives in Sydney.
