Thomas L. Martin is Clyde S. Kilby Professor of English at Wheaton College, where he teaches Renaissance literature, literary theory, and literature of the fantastic. He is the author of _Poiesis and Possible Worlds_; co-author of _The Renaissance and the Postmodern_; editor of _Reading the Classics with C. S. Lewis_; and co-editor of _Reading for Life_ and _Demons: The Possessed Abridged, Annotated, and Edited for a New Generation_. Among his creative works is _Christ the Life: A Gospel Psalm_. He is also the author of various articles on literary theory, the Renaissance, and fantasy literature.
