Thomas Knüwer grew up in the Münsterland region of Germany and lives with his family in Hamburg. Besides writing, he has worked in the advertising and communications industry for more than 15 years, where he has received numerous international awards as a Creative Director. His first novel "Ventadorn," a near-future dystopia, was self-published in 2020. The thriller "Das kurze Leben einer immer wieder Sterbenden" ("The short life of a perpetually dying woman") followed in 2021 and was nominated for the Indie-Seraph 2022 of the Phantastische Akademie e.V. and the Skoutz Award. With "In der Hölle ein Kreuz" ("A Cross in Hell") Knüwer published his grandfather's eye-witness accounts of the Battle of Stalingrad as an editor in 2022. Knüwer is a member of the Art Director's Club (ADC), German Selfpublisher Association and the fantasy authors' network PAN e.V.
