Thomas K. Clancy is the author of four books and is a nationally recognized expert on the Fourth Amendment. Two books are on law: Cyber Crime and Digital Evidence (expected 5th ed. 2027) and The Fourth Amendment: Its History and Interpretation (expected 4d ed. 2027) and two on American history: Life Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness: Fourth of July Stories and soon: 1775 – America Rebels (expected Spring 2026). Clancy is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Mississippi School of Law and a graduate of Vermont Law School and the University of Notre Dame. He now lives on Cape Cod.
