I am a career veteran of ICU nursing and know what good medical care looks like. I own Chicago's largest RN only professional patient advocacy company and love helping people who are frustrated, lost, confused or angry about modern healthcare untangle messes. I have always loved being a patient advocate for my patients in the hospital, and now use my expertise to help save lives, money and frustration for families experiencing short and long term crises. Writing Patient Advocacy Matters is my way of helping so many others who would like to be more well equipped to advocate for their family members in today's confusing and fast paced world of healthcare. I am happily married and live in Libertyville, Il with my husband Dean and 23 year old daughter Emma. My two grown sons live in Chicago and I am a proud grandma of one year old Ainsley Grace.
