Terence Park grew up in a single parent family in Stoneyholme, a notorious area of Burnley, UK. His liking for Fantasy and SF grew from feeling out of place as a child - his mother was German. He qualified as an accountant in 1990, has four children (now grown) and with time on his hands began to write. He explains his motivation as follows: 'Over the years I got less and less pleasure from reading (the genre), having read much, I realised it was time to put something back in.' In 2011 he helped revive the moribund Creative Writers Group on the blogging platform of the London Daily Telegraph. Terence is active in local arts events, his readings are well received and he has contributed to several short fiction / poetry collections. His first novel experimented with plot. Later projects have seen him take on different genres: Dystopia, Noir, Heroic Fantasy, Poetry, an account of the last years of his home town grammar school, and a reproduction of a Juvaini's C13th account of the doings of the Turco-Mongol hordes. Terence is self-published. He enjoys keeping up with current events in the Daily Telegraph the Guardian and the New York Times. His interests include Football, History Golden Age SF and Silver Age Comics.
