Terence J. Murphy is the author of Gideon Irondell and the Magnet of Marjon, the first book in the Gideon Irondell Trilogy, a new fantasy series for readers age ten and above. The trilogy continues with Gideon Irondell and the Fragmented Fault Lines and a third volume in development. He is also the author of The Cranio-Genesis Project, a thriller trilogy with sales in twelve countries.

Before becoming a novelist, Terence spent more than two decades solving hard technical problems in the tech industry, where he learned that the most interesting problems are usually the ones nobody knows how to define yet. He brings that same instinct to fiction, building worlds that feel structurally real and characters who must first understand what they are facing before they can decide who they are meant to become.

He lives in Florida with his wife, Tracey, and is currently working on Book Two.
