I have a passion for writing thrilling legal dramas set in locations where I have lived and worked. I have several university degrees including in politics, law, and international relations. I've experienced life firsthand in the places that I write about. I am currently living in New Zealand and write under a pen name for privacy. As well as writing, I enjoy volunteering for causes that I support, such as rehabilitation of native bird species. I keep up my European language skills, such as French and German, and enjoy frequenting the wonderful local cafes in the heartland of New Zealand. I invite readers to explore my books and connect with me on social media to stay up-to-date on your latest writing projects. Take a look at the trailer for my new book "The Missing Diary: Crime Scene Kosovo Book 1" https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/811693508 Here are some sample recent reviews of "The Missing Diary", spoilers removed: "The Missing Diary had all the things a good book should have. It had espionage, it has suspense, it had drama, it had mystery and it was a thriller. The lead character, Caitlin Chase aka Kit, was an attorney who went to Pristina, Kosovo to practice law there. ... The ups and downs and the ins and outs of the cases took me on a roller coaster ride, but it wasn't hard to follow. This story held my attention from start to finish. The characters were very well developed and the storyline left room to incorporate imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I gave it five stars." - DW, June 1, 2023 "The Missing Diary is an absolute thrill ride that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. As an attorney named Kit Chase, I embarked on a three-month job in post-conflict Kosovo, seeking an escape from the monotony of my life and my impending marriage in New Zealand. ... "The Missing Diary brilliantly combined suspense, drama, and mystery into a heart-pounding thriller. I was captivated by Kit's relentless pursuit of justice and her tangled web of relationships... The intricate plot kept me guessing, and the well-developed characters added depth and intrigue. This book was an absolute delight, immersing me in a world of danger and suspense that held me captive until the very last page." - CD, June 15, 2023 "I really liked the unusual combination of New Zealand and Kosovo as the key locations of relevance to the plot. The analysis of the conflict was interesting and made me think about how quickly things do or do not move on after war. Strong characters and a natural dialogue style helped make this an immersive reading experience." - LG, March 23, 2023 Also on Wish Book's page: https://www.wish-books.com/
