T.J. Cooper is the author of the A Bond of Silver series, his debut into the world independent publishing. He was born on December 28th, 1995 in Dallas, Texas within the United States of America. With being a fan of fantasy and sci-fi, or just being an all-around nerd, it was only a matter of time before T.J. began his journey into the world of writing about nerdy things. As a kid, films like Star Wars, The Lord of The Rings, Spider-Man, and Spy Kids, excited his imagination. Whenever it would snow, as it so often does in Texas (sarcasm implied), T.J. would often think he was on the snow planet of Hoth, reenacting the moment when Luke sees the ghostly blue image of Obi-Wan Kenobi telling him to go to the Dagobah System (Dagobah System?). A strange scene to reenact, but a fun one nonetheless, as he would crawl around in the snow pretending to be an injured Luke Skywalker. As he grew older, he ventured further into the nerdom universe with books from the Star Wars universe and attempting his first read of The Lord of The Rings. Its safe to say that the Star Wars books were much lighter reading. However, going into young adulthood, T.J. found himself playing a video game called The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. After much encouragement from a close friend to finish the game, T.J would experience one of the greatest games ever created (and that's a fact). Once he finished The Witcher III, T.J. would learn that there were books in which the game was based on. Wanting more of The Witcher, T.J. would consume the entire Witcher Saga of books within the span of a few months. Two things came about this read of T.J.'s. One, he found a new author he admired in Andrzej Sapkowski. Two, his obsession with reading fantasy had been rekindled. From Andrzej Sapkowski's work on The Witcher, T.J. would widen his range of authors to the likes of Brandon Sanderson, Brian McClellan, John Gwynne, Joe Abercrombie, and many more of the modern fantasy scape of authors. Though many authors T.J. would read were traditionally published, it was not until T.J. read The Dragon's Blade Trilogy by Michael R. Miller that he realized books could be self-published as well. Not only that, many of those who self-published their books were of the same quality and caliber, some times even surpassing, that of traditionally published authors. Then, one day, a thought popped into T.J.'s head. "If these guys can do it, why can't I?" A Shadow's Vendetta is the first answer to that question posed a few years ago. He hopes that people will read his books, but he is perfectly satisfied with writing a book that he wants to read himself. T.J. still resides around the Dallas area in Texas. He can often be found playing video games like Halo, Total War, Elden Ring, or his fiftieth playthrough of the Sly Cooper Trilogy; or find him reading another fantasy series or comic book, most likely Batman or something DC Comics related. He likes to settle down in the evening with either a good ole rewatch of True Detective – Season 1 or watching the latest lore breakdown of VaatiVidya on YouTube, cuddling up with his dogs Hugo and Otto.
