Sydney Arrison is an award-winning, bestselling author who writes across multiple genres. Her passion for storytelling began in college when an English professor encouraged her to take writing seriously. After working as a reporter for the independent press, she published her first novel, My Heart in Seoul. Its sequel, Meet Me Under the Lavender Sky, came out in the fall of 2014 and helped solidify her unique voice in contemporary romance. Sydney continued to grow her body of work with the romantic-suspense novel Brooklyn’s Song, released in 2015. It was the 1st runner-up for a prestigious Swirl Award in 2016. She later published the full-length romance Summer & Joon in September 2021, followed by her mystery novel Raelee Scattering in the fall of 2023. Her writing is known for its emotional depth, engaging characters, and smooth mixing of genres. “The world I live in is diverse and inclusive, and I want my writing to reflect that,” Sydney says. “In my view, love and relationships have no boundaries.” Sydney lives in New York with her husband, two children, her cat Butternut, and her dog Chia. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys hiking, biking, and playing badminton. She’s also a devoted fan of fresh popcorn, foreign and classic films, gripping mysteries—and the never-ending quest for the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
