Steve Whiteside is an entrepreneur, leadership coach, and author of The Happy Franchisee. With more than forty years in business and over thirty years working within franchise systems, he has built, owned, and sold multiple companies, including seven private colleges, and has worked with hundreds of business owners across North America.

Known for his practical, no-nonsense approach, Steve helps franchisees and small to medium sized business owners build stronger businesses through leadership, relationships, and systems that actually work. His work focuses not only on business growth, but on helping owners create a life they enjoy.

Steve immigrated to Canada with six hundred dollars, a learning disability, and only a high school diploma. Later in life, he returned to school and earned two master’s degrees and a PhD. Through his writing, speaking, and coaching, he continues to help leaders turn pressure into progress and challenges into opportunity.
