Stephen Black is a Northern Irish writer and editor. He is the author of the ‘Kirkwood Scott Chronicles,’ a fast paced and darkly humorous fantasy trilogy. He has also published a linked novella, ‘Bomb Girl.’ He has had short gothic horror stories published in the Quill & Crow Publishing House anthologies - ‘Grimm & Dread’ and ‘Haunted.’ His dark historical fantasy, ‘The Famine Witch,’ will he published by Quill & Crow in January 2024. Stephen lives in rolling countryside outside Belfast with his wife, Fionnuala, and three children. Originally hailing from Omagh, County Tyrone, he studied Modern History at the University of Ulster, where he first discovered his love for creative writing. He launched his own editing business, ‘Black Thoughts Editorial Services,’ last year.
