If she could ask one favor, it’s that no one comes between Stella Perry and her coffee! This self-proclaimed “caffeine hound” knows her way around the bean. What started as a tradition of sipping freshly percolated coffee in the kitchen of her grandmother’s diner became hands-on experience when Stella began working behind the counter at a local coffee shop. From roasting beans to pulling the perfect espresso shot, she understands the technical side of coffee as well as the day-to-day realities of working in a café environment. Over the years, she has combined her practical experience with extensive research into coffee sourcing, brewing methods, and the business side of coffee. Now devoted to writing, Stella shares her knowledge with readers who want to better understand coffee, enjoy it more intentionally, or explore turning their passion into something more. When she is not writing, she can usually be found on the other side of the counter, enjoying lattes, Americanos, and the occasional fresh scone while discovering new coffee spots in her home state of Vermont.
