Spencer Stern has spent nearly twenty years making socionics, one of the most detailed personality systems in the world, practical for everyday readers.

He first came to socionics as a way to understand his own personality and how it fits with the people around him. That interest turned into years of study, forum debate and writing, starting with "Socionics Demystified" in 2007.

Today he is the author of "Your Social World Explained", the complete guide to the 16 types and the relationships between them, and the "Socionics Made Simple" series, sixteen short guides that each go deep on one type. He is also the creator of the SLIDE System (the Stern-Lezama Interpersonal Dynamics Evaluator).

By day, Spencer is a product and experimentation analyst in London, which is why his books lean on clear models and plain language rather than jargon.
