From a young age, I dreamed of writing fiction. So many times in my career, I would experience something and remark to a colleague, “that belongs in a medical thriller novel!” As a practicing MD pathologist and researcher, I published numerous scientific papers. But I had no idea how to write a novel. So for many years, my dream of authoring a medical thriller series remained tucked away in folders of manuscript notes, gathering dust. But then something wonderful happened…via an unexpected phone call, I was introduced to Self Publishing School, enrolled, and received the help I had been searching for, for so so long. With Cancer Under the Carpet and now Misplaced Scrutiny, the second book in The Pathologist Chronicles series, that long-held vision has finally come to life. And, there is more on the way! Book 3 in the series, “A Viral Test” will be coming soon. It’s been such a fun and rewarding journey. I hope that you enjoy the Pathologist Chronicles thriller novels as much as I enjoy writing them!
