Simón attended the University of California Santa Barbara where he received a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Following UCSB he then received a second bachelors from Art Center College of Design where he studied Illustration with an emphasis on Entertainment Arts. Since 2013 he has been working professionally in the animation industry as a character designer, visual developer, and Art Director. In addition to working in the animation industry he also works as an illustrator, muralist, graphic designer and animator.
