Simon Anholt has advised the presidents, prime ministers and governments of 58 countries over the last 20 years, helping them to engage more imaginatively and effectively with the international community. He is also recognised as the world’s leading authority on national image or (as he reluctantly admits he used to call it back in the 90s), "nation branding", although it has absolutely nothing to do with marketing, PR or communications: it's all about countries earning a better reputation by contributing more to the world. Simon publishes the Good Country Index, an annual survey that ranks countries on their contribution to humanity and the planet.
